NEW: SUPER SPRINT 2026

NEW: SUPER SPRINT 2026

The Zurich City Triathlon is expanding its race program and introducing a Super Sprint for the first time in 2026 – a fast, dynamic race format designed to excite both beginners and ambitious athletes. The Super Sprint takes place on Saturday morning, June 27, 2026, and is limited to 150 start slots.

Each round consists of 350 m swimming, 10 km biking, and 2.5 km running, which equals roughly half the Sprint distance per race. Since all participants race twice (qualification + final), the total distance adds up to 700 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run.
A compact, accessible, yet challenging format – perfect for your first triathlon experience or as a fast, explosive additional race.

Race Mode & Schedule

All athletes first complete a qualification round in two starting blocks. The fastest 50% qualify for the A Final and compete for the day’s victory. The slower 50% start in the B Final. The Super Sprint is scored by gender only, with no age group categories. Eligible participants must be born in 2010 or earlier.

The Super Sprint is especially suitable for those who were unable to secure a Sunday race slot but still want to be part of the largest triathlon in Switzerland in June 2026. With this new format, you even have the chance to cross the legendary ZC3 finish line twice on the Landiwiese.

👉 Registration for the limited Super Sprint is now open.
Registration for the Youth League is also open.
