The Zurich City Triathlon has set itself the goal of being the birthplace of future Olympic triathlon champions. That's why the second Zurich City Triathlon will feature a free Kidstriathlon for children up to the age of 9. This will make the ZC3 a happening for the whole family. The Kidstriathlon will take place in a easy going atmosphere without timekeeping or ranking. The goal is to create a fun experience for the kids and that they can taste the triathlon feeling.
The kidstriathlon will take place on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2026.
1 lap of 40 m around the pier at Badi Mythenquai. There are sections where standing in the water isn’t possible, but children can hold on to the pier.
1 lap of 540 m around the Landiwiese.
1 lap of 220 m along the lakeside promenade at Landiwiese.
For children born up to and including 2017, who have little or no triathlon experience.
Aids are allowed:
Swim course: e.g. swimming wings, boards, noodles.
Bike course: e.g. support wheels
Bike course: Bike must have good brakes. Bicycle helmet is compulsory.
Running course: Sneakers are compulsory.
Bike & run course: Upper body must be covered (swimming costume is sufficient for girls).
From Saturday morning, the race number pickup (RNP) will be open, where participants can collect their personal race number. To ensure a smooth race, bikes must be checked in and placed in the Swim-Bike transition zone at least 30 minutes before the start.
