STAFF - BECOME PART OF THE ZC3-TEAM
An event of this size cannot take place without the support of volunteers. Volunteers carry the whole event and make our dream of the Zurich City Triathlon come true. That's why we are looking for YOU! Discover the joy of helping, have fun with like-minded people and enjoy unforgettable moments at the Zurich City Triathlon.
VOLUNTEERS
TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
In order to run the Zurich City Triathlon successfully, we need active support.
Between Thursday, 20th and Monday, 24th June 2024, there are approximately 500 volunteer positions to be filled. There are various interesting jobs where you can be close to the athletes. You can find more information about the tasks under “Fields of activity”.

We’re looking for lifeguards! You can register directly with SLRG.
We are looking for forklift truck drivers! You can apply via Swiss Volunteers with the note Forklift driver.

FOR SINGLE HELPERS
Tariff 1: CHF 5.- per hour for assignments of up to 6 hours (max. CHF 30.-)
Tariff 2: CHF 6.- per hour for assignments from 6 to 9 hours (max. CHF 54.-)
Tariff 3: CHF 7.- per hour for assignments over 9 hours (max. CHF 98.-)
+ a staff shirt
+ free catering during the assignment
FOR HELPING GROUPS
In addition to the compensation per person, the staff shirts, the catering and the ZC3 goodie:
from 10 people additionally CHF 200.- lump sum
from 20 people additionally CHF 300.- lump sum
from 30 people additionally CHF 400.- lump sum
FOR COMPANIES (CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY)
What is Corporate Social Responsibility? And why is it important?
We donate 50% of the financial compensation in your name to the Stiftung Schweizer Sporthilfe and 50% to the First Climate climate protection project.
In addition to the donation amount, all volunteers receive a staff shirt, free food during the event and a Zc3 goodie.
HELPING HAND HERO
YOUR EFFORT WILL BE REWARDED
With your active support and personal commitment, you can nominate yourself for the title “HELPING HAND HERO”. We will select one person from all the helpers who have made an outstanding contribution. In addition to fame and honour, you will receive a small gift.
CREW POSITIONS
Have you already helped out at an event a few times and would like to take on more responsibility at the Zurich City Triathlon? We are always looking for motivated crews. For us, crews are people who are responsible for a certain area of the event weekend and sometimes also lead helpers.
To ensure that you have all the important information, you will receive a briefing before the event weekend and you will be invited to our OC meeting, where the latest information about the event and organizational matters will be communicated.
