RACE COURSES

Thanks to closed-off roads, the courses of the Zurich City Triathlon promise fast times and new personal bests. Lake Zurich usually has pleasant water temperatures around 20 degrees at the end of June, which should allow for a wetsuit swim. The flat bike course will be completed several times as a circuit. The run course in the heart of Zurich guarantees numerous spectators who will push you to the finish line on the Landiwiese.

OLYMPIC DISTANCE

1 swimming lap of 1.5 km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich, 2 bike laps of 20 km each on the flat circuit and 2 run laps of 5 km around Lake Zurich.

CATEGORIES: Individuals as well as teams & companies (18 years and older)

FOR WHOM: Rookies, PB hunters and everyone who wants to have fun.

SPRINT DISTANCE

1 swimming lap of 0.75km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich, 1 biking lap of 20km each on the flat circuit and 1 running lap of 5km each around Lake Zurich.

CATEGORIES: Individuals as well as teams & companies (16 years and older).

FOR WHOM: Rookies, PB chasers and everyone who wants to have fun.

YOUTH TRIATHLON U16

1 swimming lap of 0.35 km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich, 3 bike laps of 2.9 km each on the flat circuit and 2 run laps of 1.35 km along Badi Mythenquai.

CATEGORIES: Individuals

FOR WHOM: Rookies, PB hunters and everyone who wants to have fun.

YOUTH TRIATHLON U14

1 swimming lap of 0.15km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich, 1 biking lap of 2.9 km each on the flat circuit and 1 running lap of 1.5km along Badi Mythenquai.

CATEGORIES: Individuals

FOR WHOM: Rookies, PB chasers and everyone who wants to have fun.

YOUTH LEAGUE

1 swimming lap of 0.35km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich, 3 laps of 2.9 km each on the flat circuit (Drafting is allowed), 2 laps of 1.35 km along the Badi Mythenquai.

CATEGORIES: Individuals FOR WHOM: for 14 and 15 year olds who belong to a triathlon club.

KIDS TRIATHLON

1 swimming lap of 40 m around the small jetty in the bathing area. (There are places where you can no longer stand, but you have the option of holding on to the jetty), 1 bike lap of 540 m around the Landiwiese, 1 run lap of 220 m along the Landiwiese.
