YOUTH TRIATHLON
In the U14 and U16 categories, which are suitable for schoolchildren and young people with little or more triathlon experience, 10 to 15-year-olds can take part in the Zurich City Triathlon. IMPORTANT! Currently the new course concept 2024 is still in the approval process (subject to change).
YOUTH TRIATHLON U14
Swimcourse
1 lap of 0.15 km in the clear and pleasantly warm Zürichsee (blue)
Bikecourse
1 lap of 2.9 km on the flat circuit (with drafting) (green)
Runcourse
1 lap of 1.5 km along the Badi Mythenquai (red)
For students and teenagers born in 2011–2014 who have little or more experience.
No licence is required.
All bicycles are allowed.
YOUTH TRIATHLON U16
Swimcourse
1 lap of 0.35 km in the clear and pleasantly warm Zürichsee (blue)
Bikecourse
3 laps of 2.9 km on the flat circuit (with drafting) (green)
Runcourse
2 laps of 1.35 km along the Badi Mythenquai (red)
For teenagers born in 2009–2010 who have little or more experience.
No licence is required.
All bicycles are allowed.
YOUTH LEAGUE
Swim course
1 swimming lap of 0.35km in the clear and pleasantly warm Lake Zurich.
Bike course
3 laps of 2.9 km each on the flat circuit (green).
Drafting is allowed.
Runcourse
2 laps of 1.35 km along the Badi Mythenquai (red).
